DESCRIPTION:The Collective of Self Help Groups (COSHG) are Presenting Workshops on Setting Up and Running a Self Help Group.\nTopics that will be covered include: \n\nWhat are self help and support groups?\nThe benefits of being in a group with those who have similar experiences\nSetting up a new group and maintaining an existing one\nResources for groups\nFinances for groups\n\nThese workshops will be of interest to those in the local disability community who are interested in starting a self help group or maintaining an existing one. Our workshops are inclusive and flexible and are aimed at addressing participants’ needs. \nThe cost is free\, lunch is included\, but bookings are essential.
