In mid March this year the COSHG team travelled to Maryborough to present a workshop on self help groups and the issues that they may face in running a group.
This workshop was part of a series of rural workshops that occurred up until 2020 when the workshops were postponed due to COVID restrictions. We were very fortunate to have an article written up in the local paper and also a local radio interview, which was played on more than one occasion leading up to the workshop itself.
Participants came from Bendigo and Maryborough. We covered a range of topics that were priorities for attendees. Substantial information was also given on a diversity of relevant subjects in our resources kit. All in all, we considered the workshop a success and look forward to similar presentations in the future both online and face-to-face.
