Disability self help grants from the Victorian Government assist disability self help groups with general expenses and running costs, as well as minor works and equipment. 

Applications for the 2021-2023 funding round are now open and will close at 4pm on 15 February 2022

Applications can be completed online through the new SmartyGrants online grants management platform.

Groups can apply for up to $10,000 over 2 years, with priority groups for 2021-23 including: 

  • Aboriginal Victorians   
  • young people (aged 12-25)  
  • women and girls  
  • people from culturally diverse communities   
  • people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, gender diverse or intersex  
  • groups based in regional or rural Victoria.
